Workflow to follow
Before the start of the match, enable Live match. This feature is needed to update the result online for all the necessary parties.
1. When the last point of a set has been assigned to one of the two teams this message will appear:
2. Press the Enter key or click on Yes to confirm the end of the set. Click on No or press the Esc key if the end rally key has been pressed by mistake and it is not desired to close a set. By pressing No the program will automatically cancel the previous End Rally code.
3. Once the end of the set has been confirmed, total duration of the set in minutes will need to be inserted; by pressing Enter it will be inserted in the appropriate field in the Match Notes window.
4. The Scouting Window will also display the end of set code in the **Nset format (N will be the number of the set that has just been closed) and will then be positioned in the Codes List window.
5. Once the final set of the match has been finalized, the scouting window will display a title of Game Over. At this point and after verifying that everything is in order, go to the Media Plugin window and locate yourself on the Upload tab, then click on Upload to publish the match data and finalize the match.
6. A prompt will then appear to save the .dvw file of the match on the computer, this step is mandatory and the match cannot be finalized without it.
7. As soon as the location where the .dvw file is to be saved in the computer is chosen, the data upload will begin and be displayed as seen on the image below.
8. Wait for the confirmation that Match data has been successfully sent and click Ok.
What to avoid?
- If there are any issues uploading the match file to CEV system, the scout might be asked to provide the local .dvw file that was stored on their computer after covering the match. Make sure to provide the original file, which contains the correct CEV IDs.
- There might be a different .dvw file for the same match if the club has used the Rosters Validation feature in order to analyze the CEV match data along with the other club matches within its own federation. Make sure to always use the original file for CEV purposes.
