Go to Competition-Import to find 4 different templates for import:
- List of people (for referees and commissioners)
- Roster (for players)
- Personnel (for head and assistant coaches)
- Schedule (link to the separate article is here)
1️⃣ Under Competition-Import download an example document.
2️⃣ Open downloaded CSV file:
If all the data is located in one cell (like on the screenshot below), it needs to be split.
- Select cells A1 and A2 and go to Data, click on Text to Columns, choose Delimited, and click on Next.
- Add checkbox Other and add ; (semicolon). The data will be split by columns. Click on Next, and then Finish.
- Move to step 3️⃣.
3️⃣ The format of date has to be yyyy-mm-dd. If it is different, change it by right-clicking on the cell(s) and selecting "Format Cells". Choose the correct format under category Date, and press OK. When it is done, the CSV file is adapted for the next steps.
4️⃣ Add the required information:
- First and last name: provide both the English version (using only Latin letters) and the local language version (any characters allowed). Both versions are mandatory.
- Date of birth: use the format YYYY-MM-DD.
- Country of citizenship: specify the full country name (e.g., Australia).
- Height
- Weight
- Team name: must match exactly as registered in the FIBA Organizer.
- Shirt number
- Playing position: use one of the following position codes:
F

, C
, PG
, SG
, SF
, PF
, G/F
, F/C
, PG/SG
, SG/SF
, SF/PF
, PF/C
- Nationality: provide the 2-letter country code, as listed at iban.com/country-codes.
- Role: add the role in lowercase only (e.g., referee).
5️⃣ Go to Competition -Import - Rosters.
- Select Season.
- Select League.
- Select Delimiter (which should be ",". If import isn't successful, please set ";").
- Add Start date (it has to be before the 1st game of the respective team).
- Click on Browse for prepared .csv file.
- Click on Send.
6️⃣ If everything is correctly added, the following screen will appear, click on Submit button. The roster is imported.
