- Select the lineup for 1st set and select the sides
- Team roster available for lineup selection
- Select the sides
- Reset or rotate the lineup
- Come back to the roster window to edit jersey numbers or player role
- Serve order indicators
- It is important to set the serving order correctly. You will get this information from the Referee. In Snow volleyball, the players will rotate for serving. The team's players should be placed in the right order. Test1 starts serving with the player on position number 1, the next one will be 2 then 3, and then 1 again. The Test2 team starts with receiving, which is the same numerical logic as player number 1 being the first one to serve for that team, just positioning is a bit different at the beginning of the set.
The player who is serving has a circle around their number.
When Test2 starts serving they will rotate so the player with number 1 will start serving.
- Select the serving team and adjust the sides for the teams if needed
- Start and scout the match.
- Pay attention to the Live Match indicator. If the Live Match button is blue, it means that you have a connection with the server and the match is live (all is good). Usually, when you open the match, the connection will be made automatically.
But in case the Live Match button is red, you need to reestablish connection by enabling Live Match. You can do that by clicking on the Live Match button and in the pop-up window you need to click Enable Live Match. If it still does not work, check your internet connection.
Finalization process
There are two possible options at the end of the game:
- Undo the last point
- Confirming the last point and game
Undo the last point
After entering the match point, a pop-up for confirmation will open and will ask for the last point confirmation. If for any reason, the point is not to be confirmed, Undo the last point must be clicked. Then game will go back to the previous screen for new action to be added. See the following article on how to update different match actions.
Confirming the last point and game
After entering the match point, a pop-up window for confirmation will open and will ask for the last point confirmation.
Then, the next screen will give you the option to Send Online Match reports or Continue Scouting. Please make sure that the Match Report is uploaded. To see the match report specifics, go to the following article on match report specifics.
The Continue Scouting option is there to go back to the main scouting screen.
The successful upload confirmation looks like this: Match data successfully sent, you can click OK to continue.
In case it was not successful because of no internet connection, you will receive an error.
If the match was not finalized properly
If a statistician had a bad internet connection or had some issues during a match and it was needed to close a match, the application will automatically find the open (unfinalized) match during the launch of the application
The second option is to click on "Match Database" - select "Snow" discipline in the dropdown window - click on the match that wasn't finalized correctly and try to finalize it again.
If the statistician has any technical issues that makes it impossible to collect official match data, the tournament supervisor needs to be informed as soon as possible.
You can find more detailed information in the Click & Scout Media Handbook that can be accessed in the application.
