When creating or opening a match "SYSTEMS CHECK´S" need to be made. Please select Connection Type and Run the test. Hard-wire connection is mandatory
Every item of the system check should have a green check mark, this will guarantee that everything is good from a technical perspective.
Update information relevant to the "TEAMS" color
In the "PLAYERS" tab, you can see the list of players and select the team captain for each team by clicking on the C in front of the desired player.
When all steps have been completed click on the SAVE & NEXT button.
If the SAVE & NEXT BUTTON is grayed out, it means that information is still missing and the scorer should go back to fill it out.
First, choose which team won the coin toss and if they decided to serve/receive or select the courtside. Then, input the opposite selection from the team that lost the coin toss.
The scorer must collect signatures from the team captains.
*The team captain may be changed during the Coin Toss procedure as per the following picture:
If the scorer is not sure about the outcome of the coin toss, they should ask a referee.
In the "SELECT LINEUP" selection confirm the players on the court. You can rotate the serving order on the lineup window to match the correct order (An incorrect team order will remain incorrect for all the sets).
During the Match
Every action should be added following the referee's decision, if something is unclear please don't hesitate to ask.
The Connection Status icon should be green. If the icon is red please check your internet connection. Once the connection has been re-established, the webcast icon should be green again.
In addition to everything described above, please take a look at the different support articles that describe each of the match workflows related to regular updates:
Rally Workflow
Timeout Workflow
Protest Workflow
Formal Warning Workflow
Penalty Workflow
Challenge workflow
Medical Assistance Workflow
Note: Be very careful at the time of adding any match action, the reason being that editing and correcting actions might require some time and expertise which might take your attention out of the ongoing new action.
The biggest recommendation to take into account during match updates is to be mindful of the score at all times and, more importantly, to make sure that the score is correct BEFORE ending each set. Clicking on the button "end set" effectively confirms the score, the software won't allow you to edit any points after you've clicked that button, so if the score is incorrect you won't be able to fix it.
After the Match
Before clicking on end match be sure that the score and everything are correct as the system will not let you edit/modify anything.
Once the match has ended the scorer will need to confirm the score and finalize the match. Please be extra careful at the time of finishing each set, but especially the final set and the end of the match. Once you've finalized the match you will no longer be able to make any adjustments to any match actions.
The scorer will be prompted to continue to sign off and will need to collect signatures from both captains and 1st referee. (If two referees were added for the match, then both referee's signatures are needed)
The scorer will once again need to confirm the final score
Once the scorer has confirmed a loading to the cloud window will pop up (Data Publish).
If the data is not uploading successfully eg: (data upload stuck at 50%), the scorer should check and/or switch the internet connection and try again. If the issue persists, close the application, re-open it on the relevant match from the Existing Matches list and try data upload again.
