What does the data upload failure look like?
In a successful scenario, you should get the “Match uploaded successfully” message after you’ve clicked the “Upload Match”.
All other scenarios mean the data wasn’t uploaded successfully to the CEV database.
The root of the issue might be different (Internet, Windows settings, Firewall, device setting, etc.), so firstly, read an error message in the pop-up window and try to understand it.
One of the common issues is the Internet connection. We suggest trying to connect your computer to a different network, and later try to upload the match again. In case it’s not the issue, please refer to this support article that might help to solve the problem.
You can run the “System Check” to see if the check recognizes an issue that blocks the match upload:
How to open a match after you closed it?
If you get a warning that the match is not sent in the bottom right corner, click on the ”Click here to send the match”.
If you saved or got a matching file (ref. file), the match can be reopened via ”Archive”. In the “Archive”, find your match file, open it, and repeat the upload procedure.
What to do if any of the above suggestions do not help?
If any of the above-mentioned suggestions don’t help to upload the match data, please send the automated report, and the Genius Sports team will help you to upload the match. For more information on how to send the report please read this support article.
